Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) Terrorist Kifayat Ayoub Alie Killed in Encounter with Security Forces in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir

A terrorist belonging to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) group was killed during a confrontation with security forces in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, according to officials. Acting on specific intelligence about the presence of a terrorist in Arihal village, security forces initiated a search operation in the area. The terrorist, identified as Kifayat Ayoub Alie, opened fire at the security forces during the operation, prompting them to retaliate. The encounter resulted in the neutralization of the terrorist. Alie, a resident of Pinjoora Shopian, was associated with the banned terror outfit LeT. His body was recovered from the encounter site. Police records indicate his involvement in multiple terror-related crimes.

In addition to the successful operation, security forces also seized incriminating materials and weapons from the encounter site. These included a pistol, two magazines, five rounds of ammunition, and two grenades. The recovery of these items underscores the ongoing threat posed by terrorist groups in the region.
