Former Corinthian-Casuals Captain Chris Joy Passes Away

All at Corinthian-Casuals are deeply saddened by the news of the passing of our former captain, Chris Joy. It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to a true football legend.

Chris dedicated his career to Corinthian-Casuals, making over 400 appearances for the club. He played as a centre-half and was an integral part of the team that achieved a remarkable milestone in the 1965/66 season, reaching the FA Cup 1st round proper.

Chris will always be remembered for his unwavering commitment, exceptional skills, and leadership on the field. His contributions to the club have left an indelible mark on Corinthian-Casuals’ history.
