On behalf of the PPFA Executive and our membership, we would like to express our deepest condolences to Chief Laing’s family and his extended family at Central York Fire and the Central York Professional Firefighters Association (CYPFFA). We are deeply saddened by the loss of Chief Laing and our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones during this difficult time.
Chief Laing was a respected and dedicated member of the Central York Fire department and made significant contributions to the community. His passion for firefighting and commitment to serving and protecting others was evident throughout his career. He will be greatly missed by his colleagues, friends, and the entire firefighting community.
