Alistair Darling: A Politician Remembered Fondly By Many
It is rare to witness a politician receiving such glowing tributes from such a wide range of people. Alistair Darling, who sadly passed away recently, was one such politician who undoubtedly deserved every accolade bestowed upon him. I had the privilege of first getting to know Alistair Darling in Broughton Inverleith Labour Party back in 1981. From there, our paths crossed again when we both became Edinburgh MPs in 1992.
