In a shocking development, the beautiful Randhawa Paradise, which featured prominently in Karan Johar’s recent hit movie “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,” has become the scene of a real-life tragedy. The sprawling mansion, which served as the Randhawa family’s home in the film, witnessed a horrifying incident on Monday evening when a 55-year-old man was allegedly murdered during a wedding ceremony.
According to reports from Hindustan Times, the victim, identified as Ashok Yadav, was the president of the residents’ welfare association in Sector 51 Block H and lived in Sector 51, Noida. The attacker, reportedly identified as Shekhar from Ghaziabad, is said to be the father-in-law of Ashok’s son. The tragic event unfolded at the Gaur Mulberry Farmhouse in Greater Noida West, where the wedding was taking place.

The motive behind this gruesome act is believed to be connected to the ongoing divorce proceedings between Ashok’s son and Shekhar’s daughter. The strained relationship between the two families escalated into violence, resulting in Shekhar allegedly shooting Ashok twice in the head at around 9:30 pm. Suniti, the deputy commissioner of police, Central Noida, confirmed these details and stated that the altercation between the two men caused chaos at the venue.
Ironically, this heinous crime took place at the same location that captivated audiences as the fictional Randhawa Paradise in “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.” The film, released in July last year, boasted a star-studded cast including Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Aamir Bashir, and Shabana Azmi.
As the investigation continues, the once picturesque setting of Randhawa Paradise now bears witness to a real-life tragedy, which starkly contrasts with the romantic storyline that unfolded in the movie.
