Three Persons of Interest Identified in Connection to Death of Shandon Floyd, Transgender Woman from Florence

Three individuals have been identified as persons of interest in connection to the tragic death of a transgender woman from Florence, South Carolina, as confirmed by authorities. The Richland County Sheriff’s Department revealed that Shandon Floyd was discovered deceased in a vehicle in Columbia, South Carolina, shortly before midnight on November 14. According to an incident report, Floyd and a friend had traveled from Florence to Columbia. The two were residing together at a motel, located around 10 miles away from the area where her body was ultimately found. Floyd’s friend informed deputies that he had allowed her to borrow his car at approximately 3 a.m. on November 9, but she had not returned as of 7:15 p.m. that same day.
