Patna: A 24-year-old man was discovered dead at the tracks near railway crossing number 22 in Bahadurpur village, Vaishali district on Wednesday. The family of the deceased has accused his wife of plotting his murder due to her alleged extramarital affair. The man’s bike was found a short distance away from the railway tracks.
The deceased has been identified as Rajvir Kumar, son of Upendra Singh from Bhual in Muzaffarpur district. Rajvir had married Nisha Kumari (22), the daughter of Jalandhar Singh, in Bahadurpur village on February 27, 2023. He had gone to his in-laws’ place on Tuesday to attend a wedding ceremony but was found dead the following morning. There were multiple visible injuries on his body.

Goraul SHO Manoj Kumar stated that Rajvir had been working for a private company in Pune and had returned home five days before Chhath Puja. Nisha had stayed at her maternal home during this time and had invited Rajvir to attend the wedding event. The deceased’s family has filed a written complaint against Nisha’s family, alleging a conspiracy to murder Rajvir.
In recent news, Bhojpuri YouTuber Malti Devi was found dead at her in-laws’ house, allegedly due to suicide. Her father has lodged a complaint, accusing her in-laws of killing her for dowry. Malti’s husband, Vishnu Kumar, was accused of having an affair, which led to the couple’s separation. The police have filed an FIR against Vishnu and three of his relatives.
In another incident, a stray dog in Davanagere reportedly displayed signs of mourning after a 21-year-old biker died in an accident while trying to avoid hitting the dog. The dog made its way to the deceased’s home, fought other dogs in the area, and sought comfort from the biker’s mother. This act of empathy and remorse has garnered widespread recognition, and the dog is now living with the biker’s family.
