Four construction workers died in a tragic accident in West Bengal’s Hooghly district on Wednesday. The incident occurred in the morning at Kangsari More in the Gurap police station area when the workers were on their way to work.
According to a police officer, a truck collided with the van carrying the labourers, causing serious injuries. The injured workers were immediately rushed to Burdwan Medical College and Hospital, where they were sadly declared dead by doctors.

The deceased have been identified as Jeevandeep Baul Das (26), Mangaldeep Baul Das (32), Biswajit Roy (35), and Diwakar Singh (22). All of them were residents of Siyapur area in Gurap. The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem examination.
