A shocking incident of jealousy turned deadly in a bustling market when a man, who was described as an ex-lover, witnessed his former flame with her new partner. Enraged and fueled by unbearable jealousy, the disgruntled man and his gang launched a brutal attack on the new boyfriend, ultimately leading to his death from gunshot wounds. The police wasted no time in apprehending the culprits, who admitted to the crime.
The incident occurred in the parking area of a local event near Phra Pathom Chedi, Nakhon Pathom District, in the early hours of the morning. Police were alerted by Nakhon Pathom Centre Hospital about a gunshot victim, and upon arrival at the scene, they found the injured man, identified as 27-year-old Likhit, who had been shot in the abdomen and right lung. Doctors performed emergency surgery in an attempt to save his life.

The suspects were quickly identified as 24-year-old Tinnaphop and 23-year-old Jedsadakorn. During initial interrogation, it was revealed that the suspects, along with two women, including the victim’s new girlfriend, had been hanging out at the market. Suddenly, the victim’s ex-partner, Sakchai, approached them, starting an argument and physically assaulting one of the women. This led to a physical altercation between Sakchai, the victim, and their friends, during which Tinnaphop shot the victim with a gun he was carrying.
After the incident, the culprits fled the scene but were apprehended at a checkpoint in Nakhon Pathom District. They were subsequently taken to Nakhon Pathom City Police Station for questioning. The suspects confessed to the shooting, claiming that the victim’s group had been confrontational and instigated the altercation. They alleged that despite their attempts to stop the fight, the victim continued the assault, leading to the shooting. Jealousy was identified as the motive behind the attack.
This tragic incident serves as a reminder of the dangers of unchecked jealousy and the devastating consequences it can have. The police continue to investigate the case, and the suspects will face charges for their involvement in the violent confrontation.
