Former Watertown Resident, Desiree Frederick, Identified as 60-Year-Old Stabbing Victim in Alexandria, Minnesota

Former Watertown resident, Desiree Frederick, has been identified as the 60-year-old woman who tragically lost her life in a stabbing incident in Alexandria, Minnesota. The Alexandria Police Department swiftly responded to the scene on the evening of November 24, in the 1600 block of 6th Avenue East, after receiving reports of the incident at approximately 10:31 p.m.

Upon arrival, first responders found Frederick unresponsive. Despite their best efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) also attended the scene to gather evidence, as the investigation is being treated as a homicide.

The Cahill Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
