Man in Custody Following Thanksgiving Night Murder in Brooklyn

A man has been taken into custody after a 69-year-old woman was fatally shot outside her apartment building in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn on Thanksgiving night. Angelina Renita Parker was found with a gunshot wound to her neck outside the NYCHA run Brevoort Houses on Bainbridge Street.

Police arrested 61-year-old Danny Daniel in connection to the incident. Daniel was apprehended in Greenville, South Carolina by members of the U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force after he was quickly identified as a suspect. Charges against him are pending as detectives continue to investigate the motive behind the murder.
