20-Year-Old Woman Shoots Dead Boyfriend, Citing Extramarital Relationship
A shocking incident unfolded in Jamshedpur, as a 20-year-old woman shot dead her married boyfriend, who had four children. The accused, identified as Parul Khatunwas, confessed to the crime, stating that she wanted to end their extramarital relationship.

However, the accused did not disclose how she obtained the gun or the bike she used to meet the victim. Police suspect that she had assistance from at least one person, according to a report by the Times of India.
Parul Khatunwas, hailing from Chakdah in West Bengal’s Nadia district, was arrested on Monday and presented in court. The Chakdah police provided this information.
On Saturday, the police discovered an unidentified body with gunshot wounds in Ganguly Para, near the Madanpur railway station. The victim, identified as Akhlaque Alam from Jamshedpur’s Pahal More, was declared dead upon arrival at the Chakdah hospital. A murder case was subsequently registered.
Further investigation led the police to suspect Parul Khatunwas, who resides in Chakdah’s Jatrapur with her father. The accused allegedly met with Alam on Saturday evening near a local club close to the Madanpur railway station.

In her confession, Parul revealed that she rode a bike to their meeting spot and shot Alam. Biman Mirdha, the in-charge of the Chakdah police station, stated that the accused knew how to ride a bike and was also known to engage in drug use. The police are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the case.
According to the police, Alam and the accused had been in a four-year relationship. However, Khatunwas wanted to break up and end the relationship, while Alam insisted on continuing. The police suspect that the accused had an accomplice, and she did not disclose the source of the firearm and bike.
This incident comes just a month after another 20-year-old woman in Jharkhand killed her boyfriend while he was asleep for refusing to marry her. The accused, Anjali Kumar, planned the murder and used an axe to carry it out.
The police swiftly solved the case and gathered the necessary evidence, leading to the arrest of the accused within 48 hours.
