Lynn Man Fatally Shot in Allston
A man from Lynn has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting in Allston, Boston. The victim has been named as 32-year-old Marco Alfonso Sosa, according to the Police Department. The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Officers responded to a report of two people being shot at a location on E. Newton St. in the city’s South End at around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday. Sosa was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second victim, who remains unidentified, sustained non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Further investigation revealed that both victims were shot in a parking lot across from 12 Glenville Ave. in Allston. The Police Department’s Homicide Unit is currently investigating the shooting. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470.
