Deadly Shooting in Fayetteville Leaves One Dead

Fayetteville, N.C. – The victim of a fatal shooting that occurred on Monday in Cumberland County has been identified by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office. Jossiel Rodriguez-Perez, a 40-year-old resident of Fayetteville, was killed in the incident, which took place on Smith Road at around 10:40 p.m. According to authorities, Rodriguez-Perez was pronounced dead at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
