Young Man Shot in Jacksonville; Suspect at Large

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting an investigation into a shooting incident that occurred on Westmar Road on Saturday, November 25. According to the authorities, a young man in his 20s or 30s was shot and subsequently taken to a local hospital. Fortunately, his injuries are not life-threatening.

Preliminary findings from the ongoing investigation suggest that the victim was standing outside a residence when an unknown suspect approached him. An argument ensued between the victim and the suspect, leading to the suspect shooting the victim once in the abdomen. Following the shooting, the suspect fled the scene.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has revealed that there appears to be some sort of relationship between the shooter and the victim, although the nature of this relationship has not been disclosed.
