Wedding Celebration Turns Fatal as Narendra Stabbed to Death in Ratlam, Kin Injured

A festive wedding in Divel village took a tragic turn when a young man was fatally stabbed after objecting to a man waving a knife during the procession. The incident occurred in Divel village, which is situated under the Sailana police station limits, only 20 km from the district headquarters in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh.

The accused, identified as Suraj from Shivpur village, was reportedly dancing with a knife in hand during the wedding procession. The victim, Narendra, who was the son-in-law of Mirabai, voiced his objection to this dangerous behavior, leading to a heated argument between the two parties.

Upon the return of the wedding procession, the situation escalated further when the accused threw stones at Manoj Dawar, injuring him. Bhola then invited Narendra to a restaurant in Dhamnod village to discuss the matter, but this invitation turned into a scuffle. With the help of Bhola and Jitendra, Suraj fatally stabbed Narendra in the stomach, causing severe injuries.

Narendra was immediately rushed to the medical college, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries. Sailana police station in-charge Ayyun Khan promptly registered a case against the accused and ensured that the body was handed over to the family after conducting a post-mortem examination. A special police team has been dispatched to Shivpur village, and arrests are expected to be made soon.
