Three law students were tragically killed and two others were injured in a car accident on Sunday. The students were traveling to Coimbatore when their car collided with a truck on the Bengaluru-Salem National Highway.
The incident occurred when the car reached Koneripalli and the truck suddenly made a left turn in front of them. Unable to avoid the collision, the car crashed into the truck. The impact of the accident resulted in five people in the car sustaining serious injuries, with three of them losing their lives instantly. The injured individuals were rushed to Krishnagiri Government Hospital by the Shoolagiri police, who had been alerted about the incident.

The police have identified the deceased as R. Tamilanban (22) from Tharamangalam in Salem district, M. Santhosh (20) from Tiruchi district, and R. Naren Yeswanth (19) from Tiruppur district. The two injured individuals have been identified as S. Sherwin Isaac (22) from Tiruchi district and S. Thaswin (22) from Mettur in Salem district. All of them were studying law at a private college in Bengaluru and were on their way to Coimbatore to attend a function.
The Shoolagiri police have registered a case regarding the accident and are currently conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the collision. This tragic incident serves as a reminder of the importance of road safety and the need for drivers to remain alert and cautious while on the road.
