Later, the motorcyclist and a group of individuals arrived in search of Bhavutosh. Failing to locate him, they resorted to opening fire on Ashok Gupta instead.

Ashok was swiftly taken to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College for treatment. During his time there, he received a visit from Anil Parashar, a local BJP MLA and also Gupta’s neighbor. Unfortunately, Ashok succumbed to his injuries and lost his life while undergoing treatment.

SSP Naithani revealed that some individuals involved in the case have been identified, and police teams have been deployed to apprehend them. The investigation is ongoing to ensure that the culprits are brought to justice.
