Indore: A tragic incident occurred on Saturday evening in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, where a three-year-old boy lost his life and three others, including two women, were injured when an e-rickshaw fell into a culvert on Dhar Road under the Betma police station jurisdiction. The deceased child was identified as Bhavesh, also known as Dhamru, while the injured individuals were Mathura Prasad, Durgesh (Prasad’s wife), and Urmila (Avdhesh Gupta’s wife). The group was on their way to Bijasan temple to offer prayers after purchasing the e-rickshaw. The accident occurred due to Prasad’s negligent driving, causing the vehicle to plunge into the culvert. The injured victims were rushed to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, Bhavesh succumbed to his injuries. The cause of his death was suspected to be severe injuries and excessive bleeding.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident and have recorded statements from the family members. The body of the deceased has been sent for autopsy, and a case has been registered against Prasad under sections 279, 337, and 304(A) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) based on his wife’s complaint.

In another unfortunate incident, a 22-year-old newly-wed woman named Ankita Bamniya passed away under mysterious circumstances at her residence in the Khudel police station area. Ankita had been suffering from sickle cell anaemia disease, and her health deteriorated in the evening. Despite being taken to the hospital, she could not be saved. The police are currently investigating the case and gathering statements from her family members. Ankita was married to Akash Bamniya for two years and had an 8-month-old daughter.
Additionally, a 23-year-old sales manager of Kyriad Hotel, Pankaj Mawada, hanged himself at his residence in Lasudia police station area. The reason behind his extreme decision remains unknown as no suicide note was found. The police are conducting an investigation and interviewing the family members to determine the cause behind his tragic act. Pankaj, originally from Sehore, was employed as a sales manager at the hotel.
These incidents have left the community in shock, and the police are working diligently to uncover the truth behind each tragedy.
