26-Year-Old Man from Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation Killed in Hit and Run

Cut Knife RCMP are appealing to the public for more information following a fatal hit and run incident. The incident occurred on Friday night at approximately 8:00 pm, when authorities received a report of a collision involving a pedestrian on Highway 40, around two kilometers east of Cut Knife. Upon arrival at the scene, officers and paramedics discovered an injured man who was later pronounced dead. The victim has been identified as a 26-year-old man from the Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation, and his family has been notified.
