The burnt remains of a 25-year-old man were discovered inside a scorched vehicle on the Adibatla Outer Ring Road (ORR) in the early hours of Sunday. The Adibatla police were alerted at 1.23 a.m. when a concerned citizen dialed the emergency helpline number ‘100’ to report a parked car, registered as TS 29 N 9559, engulfed in flames between exit 12 and 13 of the ORR. Law enforcement promptly dispatched a patrol car and notified the fire control room. Once the fire was extinguished, authorities made the grim discovery of a charred male body within the vehicle. The deceased individual was later identified as Badugula Venkatesh, a student from Nayanagar of Kodad, Suraypet.
The police have initiated a case and launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire. The body has been transferred to Osmania General Hospital for a post-mortem examination, the results of which are eagerly awaited. “We are currently in the midst of ongoing investigations,” stated the police.
