Worker Stabbed in Robbery at Fort Myers Barbershop: Duncan Greggersen Arrested

FORT MYERS, Fla. — A 31-year-old man is currently in custody at Lee County Jail after allegedly robbing a barbershop and stabbing a worker in the neck. The incident took place during closing time on Friday night at the HQ Men’s Haircuts establishment.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office reported that the worker was counting money when a masked individual entered the store, which is located off South Cleveland Avenue and Boy Scout Drive, near Page Field. The suspect, later identified as Duncan Greggersen, attempted to seize the cash and launched an attack on the worker.

During the struggle, Greggersen employed a knife and stabbed the worker in the neck. However, the worker managed to disarm Greggersen, who then fled the scene. Local authorities swiftly initiated a search and successfully located Greggersen in close proximity to the barbershop.

The injured worker was promptly transported to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, Greggersen now faces multiple charges, including aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, robbery with a weapon, and providing a false name to law enforcement.
