Two People Killed in Auto-Rickshaw Accident in Feni: Saiful Islam and Anas

Two people were killed and three others injured in a tragic accident in Fulgazi upazila of Feni today. The incident occurred when a pickup van collided with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw. The deceased were identified as Saiful Islam, the 25-year-old driver of the auto-rickshaw, and Anas, an 8-month-old infant. The injured victims were rushed to Feni General Hospital and later transferred to Chattogram Medical College and Hospital for further treatment.

According to the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Fulgazi Police Station, Abul Hasim, the pickup van was speeding when it crashed into the oncoming auto-rickshaw in the Shanirhat area. The impact of the collision resulted in the immediate death of two individuals and left three others in critical condition. The authorities have arrested the pickup driver responsible for the accident.

Eyewitnesses reported that the pickup van was traveling at a high speed when it collided with the auto-rickshaw, causing the tragic incident. The accident has left the local community in shock and mourning the loss of Saiful Islam and Anas.

The injured victims are currently receiving medical treatment at Chattogram Medical College and Hospital. The authorities are closely monitoring their condition and providing necessary care.
