Logan Gilbert, 18, Killed in Head-on Crash in Franklin County

One person has died and two others have been injured following a crash in Franklin County on Wednesday evening. The incident occurred just after 10:30 p.m. on Wayne Road in Guilford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

The collision transpired when a northbound Honda Civic veered into the southbound lanes and collided head-on with a southbound Jeep Renegade. The driver of the Honda Civic, identified as 18-year-old Logan Gilbert from Chambersburg, was extricated from the vehicle and subsequently airlifted to York Hospital. Tragically, Gilbert was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
