Two robbers killed in Shahdra police ‘encounter’

Two suspected robbers were killed in an alleged encounter with police in the Shahdra area of Lahore. The suspects, identified as Imran alias Chota and Latif alias Tifa, were allegedly killed in the firing of their own accomplices. The incident occurred when the police party was taking the robbers to the hiding place of their accomplices and came under fire from the robbers in a hideout.

Police retaliated effectively, but the burglars managed to escape under the cover of darkness. However, both under-custody outlaws sustained injuries and died before being shifted to a nearby hospital.
