Three members of a family were brutally murdered by their relatives in Konanki village, Palnadu district, Vijayawada. The victims were identified as A Sambasiva Rao (52), his wife A Adilakshmi (48), and their son A Naresh (30). The bodies were found at their residence with multiple stab wounds.
According to the police, Naresh, a farmer and private financier, had married Madhuri six years ago after his first wife left him due to his frugal behavior. Naresh and Madhuri have a five-year-old son. However, Madhuri became frustrated with Naresh’s reluctance to spend money on her medical treatment, and she felt neglected by him and his parents. The couple frequently fought over financial matters.

On the day of the incident, Madhuri called her brother Srinivasa Rao and her father Subba Rao to discuss the ongoing issues. During the conversation, Srinivasa Rao, along with his father and sister, allegedly stabbed Naresh, Sambasiva Rao, and Adilakshmi multiple times, resulting in their deaths.
Preliminary investigations suggest that family disputes were the main motive behind the gruesome triple murder. The police have formed a special team to apprehend the accused individuals.
The incident has shocked the local community, who were unaware of the escalating tensions within the family. Neighbors express their disbelief and sadness over the tragic event, as the victims were known to be a peaceful and friendly family.
