Man named Naseer Ahmad dies heroically saving motorcyclist from train accident

A group of four Danish cyclists arrived in Muzaffargarh on Thursday as part of their journey to Islamabad. The cyclists, who have traveled through 40 countries including Europe and Gulf countries, expressed their admiration for Pakistan. They particularly enjoyed the local cuisine, highlighting chapati and tea as their favorites.

During their visit to Chowk Sarwar Shaheed, the cyclists interacted with the locals, who were excited to take selfies with them. The group shared that they have been on the road for the past 250 days, with 156 days spent cycling.

In a tragic incident, a man lost his life after being hit by a train near Ehsaanpur in Kot Addu. The incident occurred when a motorcyclist found himself stuck on the railway track. Naseer Ahmad, who happened to be passing by after morning prayer, rushed to rescue the stranded rider. Although Naseer was successful in saving the motorcyclist’s life, he was struck by the train and sadly died at the scene.

Authorities promptly arrived at the scene and transported Naseer’s body to the hospital. The incident serves as a reminder of the dangers associated with railway tracks and the importance of exercising caution when crossing them.

The Danish cyclists’ visit to Muzaffargarh highlights the potential for tourism in Pakistan.
