Body of 19-Year-Old Youth Exhumed Amidst Suspicions of Murder

The body of a 19-year-old youth, identified as Saleh Hilabi, was exhumed from a graveyard in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, India, amidst suspicions of murder. Saleh’s parents believe their son was killed, as an autopsy revealed six deep injuries on his body.

According to the police, Saleh had visited his aunt’s place in Ghansawangi, Jalna, on November 12. However, on the evening of November 17, Saleh’s parents received news that he had committed suicide. His body was brought back to their home.

Upon seeing their son’s body, Saleh’s parents were shocked and fell unconscious. Suspiciously, some relatives quickly took the body to the third floor of the house to bathe and shroud it. In the early hours of the following day, the last rites were performed.

However, Saleh’s father noticed marks on his deceased son’s face and began questioning the relatives. He even contacted the Ghansawangi police station, expressing his suspicions that Saleh was murdered. Unfortunately, he was turned away.

Afterward, Saleh’s father and other relatives lodged a complaint with Jalna’s SP. A fresh probe was ordered, and the police sought permission from the court to exhume the body. After obtaining permission, the police team inspected the graveyard and performed the necessary procedures in the presence of the tehsildar.

The autopsy revealed six deep injuries, raising further suspicions of foul play. The police have been trying to reach the Ghansawangi police for their comments but have been unsuccessful.

This incident follows other recent cases of suspicious deaths. In Uttar Pradesh, the body of a 23-year-old man was exhumed a year after his death, as his sister suspected foul play. In Mumbai, a 16-year-old boy died by suicide after his father took away his cellphone, highlighting the serious consequences of excessive gaming addiction. Additionally, in Thane, a man was arrested for the murder of an 18-year-old youth, whose decomposed body was found abandoned in the bushes.

As investigations continue, Saleh’s family seeks justice for their son and hopes that the culprits behind his death will be brought to justice.
