34-Year-Old Anthony Durking Taken into Custody in Connection with Deadly Stabbing in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY — Authorities in Kansas City have apprehended a suspect, Anthony Durking, following an investigation into a fatal stabbing. The 34-year-old suspect was taken into custody after law enforcement officials sought the public’s assistance.

On November 12, just before 4:30 p.m., an individual with stab wounds was brought to Fire Station #3 in Independence, Missouri by a concerned citizen. Despite the efforts of the fire department personnel providing medical aid, the victim succumbed to their injuries.

After conducting an investigation, it was determined that the stabbing had occurred in the vicinity of Truman Road and Hardy Avenue. Online jail records indicate that Durking is currently being held without bond in the Johnson County, Missouri jail.

Durking, who is described as homeless by the police, possesses distinctive tattoos. On the right side of his neck, he has a tattoo that reads “RESPETO,” while his right arm boasts a “Scooby Doo” tattoo. Authorities have not yet disclosed the potential charges that Durking may face.
