Two Dead, Five Injured in North Philadelphia Shooting: Roger Marquez and Leon Pierre Among Victims

A shooting took place in the Fairhill area of North Philadelphia on Tuesday night, resulting in two deaths and five injuries. The incident occurred at around 8:30 p.m. on North Fairhill Street, close to Allegheny Avenue. According to the authorities, more than 70 shots were fired.

Seven men, aged between 19 and 38, were struck by the gunfire. Sadly, two of the victims, Roger Marquez, 31, and Leon Pierre, 38, lost their lives at the hospital. The other five victims, aged 19, 30, 33, 33, and 34, have varying degrees of injuries, with some in critical condition. The police have confirmed that several firearms were found at the scene.

Although the motive behind the shooting is still being investigated, narcotics were discovered at the location. The Philadelphia Police Department is urging the public to come forward with any information they may have about the incident.
