Three Men Plead Guilty to Voluntary Manslaughter in Beating Death of Aaron Davis

Three men have recently admitted to committing voluntary manslaughter after a man from Lodi was fatally beaten outside a bar in San Joaquin County in 2022, as reported by KCRA 3 News. The three individuals, Aaron Davis, Jason Blasingame, and Lloyd Strack, pleaded guilty on October 12, according to a spokesperson from the San Joaquin Superior Court. The San Joaquin District Attorney’s Office confirmed that each of them has been sentenced to six years in prison for the felony manslaughter charges. The victim, Steven Buchan, aged 45, was identified as the man who lost his life in the incident. However, the family members of Buchan who spoke with KCRA 3 wished to remain anonymous.

The incident occurred outside a bar in San Joaquin County, where Buchan was involved in a fatal altercation. The details of the altercation leading to his death were not revealed in the report. However, it is clear that Davis, Blasingame, and Strack were involved in the beating that resulted in Buchan’s demise.
