Jury Trial Scheduled for Amie Lindsay Twins, Charged in Central Alberta Homicide

A woman has been set to face a jury trial in central Alberta for her alleged involvement in a homicide that occurred during the summer. Amie Lindsay Twins, aged 31, is scheduled to appear at the Wetaskiwin Court of Justice from March 17 to March 28, 2025, to face the charges against her.

The incident in question took place on July 30, 2023, when the Maskwacis RCMP received a distressing report about a stabbing incident at a residence situated on the Louis Bull First Nation. Promptly responding to the call, both the RCMP and the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived at the scene, where they discovered the lifeless body of a 34-year-old man, identified as Daniel Adrian Johnson, who hailed from Maskwacis.
