Five Arrested in Violent Robbery at Ross Dress for Less Store in San Bernardino County

Five people have been arrested following a violent robbery at a Ross Dress for Less store in San Bernardino County. The Chino Police Department has identified the suspects as two juveniles and three adults. The incident occurred on November 11 when officers responded to an attempted robbery at the store located on the 4000 block of Grand Avenue. Store employees reported that the suspects entered the store and started stealing merchandise from the racks. When confronted by workers, one of the suspects punched an employee multiple times in the face before all the suspects fled in a getaway car.

Following the incident, gang unit officers launched an investigation and were able to locate the suspects’ vehicle a few days later. Inside the vehicle, authorities found the suspects who confessed to the robbery when questioned. All five suspects, who are residents of Pomona, were taken into custody on charges of conspiracy and attempted robbery by force. Their identities have not been released as the investigation is ongoing.
