According to Aditya’s father, Virendra Singh, who works in the ophthalmology department in the district, his son fell off the balcony while talking to someone on the phone. This unfortunate incident follows a similar case that occurred last week, in which a cancer patient identified as Sharda Nand Manjhi also fell from a balcony in Madhu Vihar. Sharda, a farmer who had come to Bihar for treatment, allegedly lost his balance and slipped off the balcony while attending to a phone call. These incidents highlight the need for improved safety precautions in residential buildings, particularly when it comes to balconies.

Authorities have stated that there is no evidence of foul play in either case. DCP (East) Amrutha Guguloth, as reported by the Times of India, confirmed that investigations into Aditya’s tragic fall did not uncover any suspicious circumstances.

The loss of young lives in such accidents is a devastating blow to their families and communities. It serves as a reminder of the importance of vigilance and caution when using balconies and other elevated areas. Building owners and residents must prioritize safety measures to prevent such unfortunate incidents from occurring in the future.
