33-year-old Jesiah Cady identified as victim in fatal Mississippi highway accident

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) – A tragic accident claimed the life of 33-year-old Jesiah Cady from Jackson in the early hours of Wednesday morning. The Mississippi Highway Patrol has confirmed that Cady was the victim of the fatal incident.

The collision occurred at approximately 1 a.m. when a 2000 Honda Civic, driven by 55-year-old Richard Thomas from Moss Point, was traveling north on Highway 63. Surprisingly, Cady was walking in the opposite direction, south on the highway, but in the northbound lane.
