Two Men Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on Interstate 35 at Front Street: Johnny J. Vega and Jerry Sanchez Jr.

The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department has revealed the names of two men who tragically lost their lives in a devastating wrong-way collision on Sunday morning. The incident occurred on Interstate 35 at Front Street, where authorities were called just before 6 a.m. to investigate the crash involving two vehicles.

According to investigators, a black KIA Forte was seen driving in the wrong direction, heading northbound in the southbound lanes of I-35. Tragically, it collided head-on with a white Nissan Sentra. The impact was so severe that both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the KIA has been identified as 27-year-old Johnny J. Vega, while the driver of the Nissan has been identified as 43-year-old Jerry Sanchez Jr.
