Sargodha: An unfortunate incident occurred in Saedwana, resulting in the tragic deaths of four women from the same family. Additionally, a man sustained severe injuries when the roof of their house collapsed. The collapse was a direct consequence of the excessive weight imposed by the bricks on the roof.
Upon receiving information about the incident, local authorities including the police and rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene. They swiftly transported the deceased and the injured to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for further medical attention.

The police officials have identified the victims as Meena Fatima, Haram Fatima, Hafza Bibi, and Miraj Fatima. Meanwhile, Muhammad Saleem, the lone survivor, suffered critical injuries and has been transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.
Rescue officials revealed that the family had placed an excessive number of bricks on the roof, leading to the collapse. The weight burden proved too much for the supporting structures, causing the devastating incident. Authorities are currently undertaking efforts to clear the debris from the collapsed roof.
