Three-year-old Sushanth crushed to death by falling iron gate at Kota Udupi resort

In a tragic incident on November 21, a three-year-old boy named Sushanth was crushed to death after a sliding iron gate at a resort in Padukere, under the Kota Police Station limits, fell on him. Sushanth was playing with his neighbor near the resort when the gate collapsed on him, causing serious head injuries. He was quickly rushed to the local government hospital, but unfortunately, he passed away during the journey. The body was later sent for a postmortem examination.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that the gate, which was not properly fixed by the resort owner, was responsible for the accident. The Kota Police visited the scene to conduct further investigations into the incident.
