Shooting Incident Claims the Life of Leon Gaymes in St Vincent and the Grenadines

A fatal shooting incident has occurred in St Vincent and the Grenadines, claiming the life of a young man. The victim has been identified as Leon Gaymes, a 26-year-old resident of Layou.

According to the Royal Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF), on Saturday, November 18, around 8 pm, the police received a report of gunfire in Texier Road, Layou. Gaymes was found with multiple gunshot wounds, allegedly inflicted by unknown assailants wearing masks. He was rushed to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

To determine the exact cause of death, a postmortem examination will be conducted on Gaymes. The Crime Scene Unit has processed the scene and collected items that may serve as evidence in the investigation.
