According to reports, the assailant used a .45 caliber pistol and fired four shots at Castillone’s vehicle. The gunman then fled the scene on a waiting motorcycle, accompanied by a lookout. His son, who is the barangay chairman of San Rafael village, was reportedly eyeing the position of president of the town’s Liga ng mga Barangay.

The incident has shocked the community and raised concerns about the safety of public officials. The police are continuing their investigation to determine the motive behind the attack and to apprehend the perpetrators.
