Financial Dispute Turns Violent: Prashant Narvekar Assaulted, Stripped, and Abused by Tausif Khanbande and Samil Khanbande

Thane: Two men have been booked for allegedly stripping and assaulting a 17-year-old boy over a financial dispute in Kalwa, Maharashtra. The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

The victim had borrowed Rs 300 from one of the accused last year. However, when the accused started demanding his money back, the boy kept avoiding him. This enraged the accused, who then snatched the boy’s bluetooth earphones.

Later, the victim went to the accused’s house to retrieve his bluetooth. Finding no one at home, he obtained it from the accused’s mother. When the accused learned about this, he became furious and went to the boy’s house with another accomplice.

Demanding his money back, the accused attacked the victim with a sharp weapon. They also beat him, pulled off his belt, and stripped him naked. Fortunately, the victim managed to cover himself with a cloth and rushed back home.

The victim narrated the incident to his mother, who then approached the police to lodge a complaint against the accused. The two men, identified as Tausif Khanbande and Samil Khanbande, have been booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including voluntarily causing hurt, intentional insult, criminal intimidation, and common intention. They have also been charged under the Juvenile Justice Act.

Cases of assault and harassment, especially involving minors, are deeply concerning and require immediate attention from law enforcement authorities. It is crucial that the perpetrators be brought to justice to ensure the safety and well-being of the community.
