Metropolitan Police chief Pol Lt-General Thiti Saengsawang is set to attend the interrogation of eight suspects accused of involvement in a shooting incident that resulted in the death of a 19-year-old student. Thanasorn Hongsawat, a first-year student at Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-ok Uthenthawai, was fatally injured during the November 11 incident.

The incident occurred just before 9 am on Monday. The suspect, identified as 22-year-old Akkarapol Sirimekhanon, was found in Soi Charalsanitwong 3 during the arrest. The weapon used in the killing was a pen gun.
