Nov. 21—The Morgantown Police have disclosed the identity of the victim in a suspected murder case that occurred in Greenmont early on Monday morning.
The deceased, Richard Demoan Hall, aged 39, suffered fatal gunshot wounds, according to the authorities.

While limited information has been shared, the police believe that this was an isolated incident.
MPD Lt. Chad Reyes informed The Dominion Post on Tuesday afternoon, “It seems that the shooting was intentional. It wasn’t a random act.”
The police are currently conducting an investigation and are searching for any potential video footage from the area on Sunday night and Monday morning.
Responding to multiple 911 calls reporting shots fired, police officers arrived at the 500 block of Brockway Avenue, situated between Overdale and Kingwood streets, at approximately 3 a.m. on Monday.

The victim was found lying in the street, but had already succumbed to his gunshot wounds and was declared dead at the scene.
As of Tuesday afternoon, no information has been released regarding a possible suspect, the weapon used, or the number of times Hall was shot.
