20-year-old university student rescued by firefighters after alleged suicide attempt at Shing Mun River

A 20-year-old university student named Wong was rescued by firefighters after an alleged suicide attempt at Shing Mun River in Hong Kong. The incident occurred at around 1.05pm near Shan Mei Street Bus Terminus in Fo Tan. A passerby reported that they saw Wong jumping into the river, prompting a swift response from the firefighters.
