A woman was stabbed outside of the Orange County Amazon facility where she worked, according to authorities. The incident occurred in the parking lot of the Amazon distribution center on Jeronimo Road in Mission Viejo. Deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department responded to calls of the stabbing just after 9:30 a.m. and provided medical treatment to the victim with the assistance of Orange County Fire Authority first responders.
The victim, identified as a female employee of the Amazon distribution center, was stabbed and left in critical condition. She was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The suspect, who has not been identified, surrendered shortly after the stabbing and was taken into custody by law enforcement officials. The motive behind the attack is still under investigation.
