Woman Allegedly Commits Suicide in Haripur, Pakistan

A tragic incident occurred in Haripur, as a woman reportedly took her own life by hanging herself. The incident took place within the jurisdiction of the Kot Najibullah police station. The identity of the woman has not been disclosed.

According to sources, the mother of a five-year-old girl locked herself in a room and used a dupatta to tie around her neck, ending her life. The motive behind her suicide remains unknown at this time. In a separate incident, Tejarat Khan, a resident of Mohalla Pathanwala in Saria village, was shot and killed by unidentified assailants.

Upon receiving information about both incidents, the police took custody of the bodies and transferred them to the hospital for post-mortem examinations and other necessary legal procedures. Subsequently, the bodies were handed over to the respective families for burial. The police have initiated further investigations into both cases.

In another development on the same day, the Haripur police successfully apprehended two alleged thieves and recovered three stolen motorcycles from their possession. The motorcycles had been reported stolen on October 22 from a shop near Meher General Hospital on Daakhana Road, falling under the jurisdiction of the City police station.

Following the report, DPO Haripur Muhammad Umar Khan took immediate notice of the incident and instructed DSP City Muhammad Sajjad and SHO Police Station City Chanzeb Tinoli to track down the culprits responsible for the theft and recover the stolen motorcycles. Acting upon these instructions, the SHO, along with the investigation staff and other police personnel, interrogated several suspects. Eventually, a man named Aleem Khan confessed to the theft and named his accomplice, Hasnain, who was subsequently arrested.

The Haripur police have been commended for their swift action in solving the theft case and recovering the stolen motorcycles. The efforts of the police are crucial in maintaining law and order in the city and ensuring the safety and security of its residents.
