Two men from Brantford have been charged in relation to the abduction of a man in Mississauga last August. Peel Regional Police stated that the victim was driving his car near Dixie Road and Dundas Street on August 23 when the suspects intentionally rear-ended him.
Upon attempting to exchange information, one of the suspects allegedly threatened the victim with a firearm. Subsequently, they forcibly took the victim into their vehicle. The victim was then transported to a warehouse in the vicinity of Eglinton Avenue and Ridgeway Drive, where the suspects reportedly assaulted him.

Fortunately, the victim managed to escape and promptly went to 11 Division to report the ordeal. He was later taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Following an investigation, the police arrested two individuals earlier this month. Additionally, during the arrest, a 12-gauge shotgun was discovered at a residence in Brantford.
The suspects have been identified as 24-year-old Raza-Syed Jafri and 32-year-old Aziz Syed. Jafri has been charged with kidnapping using a firearm to hold for ransom and conspiracy to commit a serious offense, while Syed faces charges of careless storage of a firearm and knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm.
The authorities have stated that this incident appears to be isolated, assuring the public that there is no threat to their safety. It is important to note that the charges brought against the suspects have not yet been tested in court.
