The 41-year-old suspect has been scientifically identified as one of Kalogeropoulos’ killers and was also the motorcycle driver. Genetic material found on one of the hoods used by the assailants at the crime scene matched the DNA of the 41-year-old suspect. Furthermore, telecommunications data of the 41-year-old shows incriminating evidence, as it was discovered that he received a signal from an area near the residence of the 21-year-old suspect and alleged second perpetrator on the morning of October 30, before the murder. The same number also received signals from antennas located in the murder area and the location of the arson.

On the other hand, the 44-year-old suspect is accused of providing his mansion in Skarinou for the organization and planning of Kalogeropoulos’ murder. He is also reported to have provided the rental vehicle used in the crime. Closed-circuit cameras captured the vehicle traveling to and from the mansion, in the same area where the perpetrators’ vehicle was set on fire.
