32-year-old Dinesh Vasan and his eight-year-old son Daksh killed in tragic road accident in West Delhi’s Rajouri Garden

A tragic road accident in West Delhi’s Rajouri Garden claimed the lives of a 32-year-old man and his eight-year-old son on Tuesday morning. The police reported that a speeding car collided with their scooter, resulting in the fatal collision. The victims were identified as Dinesh Vasan and his son Daksh. Dinesh’s wife, Preeti, 32, and their eight-month-old daughter also suffered severe injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The incident occurred around 1 am when the family was returning home from a function. According to the police, their scooter was hit from behind by the alleged speeding car. The impact was so forceful that all family members were thrown onto the road, sustaining multiple injuries.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Vichitra Veer stated that locals promptly called for help, and the injured were immediately taken to the nearest hospital. Tragically, both the father and son were declared brought dead by the doctors.

Authorities are currently working to identify the accused driver and the car involved in the accident. An FIR (First Information Report) has been registered, and multiple investigative teams have been assigned to review surveillance footage and identify the vehicle responsible for the collision.
