In addition to the charges, Regis was found in possession of $27,300 in cash, 3.3 grams of cocaine, and 2.8 ounces of marijuana. During the arrest, law enforcement also found a loaded .45-caliber handgun near the Channel Two Bridge. The investigation is ongoing to determine if Regis discarded the firearm while trying to evade capture.
